Comments:Barb and Kurt Lawler purchased a video from the 2009 Syracuse Nationals and offered to share the first viewing. We held a "Syracuse Revisited" gathering yesterday afternoon and evening, and had a great time. The video gave Barrie Thunder Classics some GREAT coverage, showed a number of the club members from BTC and WBC and their vehicles. Missing was Lynn & Barrie and their convertible as Lynn had already had to report to the stage for the awards ceremony by the time the videographer came by to see us. Lynn attended yesterday afternoon sporting her new jacket she won from the Nationals .. very, very nice!! Also had a chance to see slides of the Detroit Autorama. Fun Day.

Comments:The following message was received from Bill Barnstaple of Wasaga Beach Cruisers: Stan and Bonnie, I would like to thank you and the Barrie Thunder Classics for making all the arrangements for all of us to attend the 58th annual Autorama in Detroit on Saturday February 27th 2010. I had a great time watching videos and talking to the car guys and gals on the bus and your restaurant choices were exceptionally good, both the Tunnel BBQ Restaurant on the way down and the Flying J Restaurant on the way back both had great food and fast friendly service. The show was definitely the highlight of the day.It was so big that it took a full 4 hours to see both floors of awesome custom cars, muscle cars, rat rods and tuner cars not to mention the model car and toy displays plus all the vendors. Even the display of trophys made from engine, body and trim parts was very unique. Thanks to you the cost for this full day was very reasonable. At this time I would also like to thank Brian Graham our driver for an excellent job and long day behind the wheel. Looking forward to doing it again next year. Bill Barnstaple Wasaga Beach Cruisers Watch this site for some pictures of the gang that joined in the fun last Saturday. Stan Walker.

Comments:Jul-16 It was a great evening tonight at the Barrie Thunder Cruise ... the show area was full as I believe there were over 100 hobby vehicles in attendance. A few members of the Thunder's sister club, the Wasaga Beach Cruisers, made the trip and were rewarded {as luck would have it } with the odd draw prize >> in jest, Paul was happy to offer his 'country music' collection, Russ P's favourite. The weather was perfect and the company was terrific. Gotta love all the new iron on display ; for example, Tim's Cyclone Spoiler!
