| Comments: | I just wanted to say what a great show you had last night(07/27/11). I generally don't have a ton of extra time but lastnight I attended your show with my `87 Olds 442.
Holding the show on the lakeshore is such a great venue and makes it easier to bring wives and children because there is so much more for them to do!
The cars were great and it was fun chatting with car guys. I hope you will be able to keep this venue in the future. Holding the show at the "jewel" of Barrie can only increase awareness and grow your membership.
Keep up the great work!

| Comments: | Here we are now with Detroit Autorama behind us. We had 27 very excited guys and wives with us down to Detroit, overnight in great college accomodations, and back on the Sunday morning. What a show. Everyone enjoyed the trip and especially the fact that we were able to provide the transportation, overnight accomodation, and entry to the show for $115.00.
We expect to do the trip again next year, so mark you February 2012 calendar.
BTC is well on the way to starting the 2011 season in our new location, Heritage Park in Beautiful downtown Barrie. The date for our first cruise is Wednesday May 25th from 6 pm until dusk. This new venue has been much talked about during the long winter months and everyone seems to be very excited. Just think about parking on nice soft grass compared to parking in an asphalt parking lot at a mall. Kozlov Mall was very good to us, however we have outgrown that accomodation and the City of Barrie approached us to move to Heritage Park. Very Nice!!!
We also have the upcoming "Classics in the Park" on Saturday July 23rd. Mark your calendars, come and have a great day by the bay. Many activities are scheduled, vendors row, door prizes, class awards, and the Mayor's Pick at 1pm.
If you have not seen what Heritage Park looks like take a look at the Home page of this web site and see the pictures from our last cruise night late in September last year.
Look forward to hosting all who come in 2011.

| Comments: | Ealier this year BTC hosted the Canadian Paraplegic Association on a Wednesday night cruise night.
The intent was to allow those less fortunate than us who have special needs vehicles to show the engineering and special features they have in their vehicles.
As a result of this opportunity, many were excited about the hobby cars and trucks on display.
One fellow, Peter White recently bought a 51 Chev Torpedo back that has been chopped and then the owner lost interest. I visited his garage today and found a very doable project. Pictures will be posted here on the web site later.
Pete is excited about the future with the car including his thoughts how the drivers seat can be engineered to rotate out to accomodate his entry.
He has a thought that he may swap out the 351 Mercury engine that is in it (It was mounted on a Marquis frame) he is thinking about putting in a 350 chevy. Contact me if you have any interest in his motor etc.

| Comments: | Our cruise to North Bay to attend the Downtown Cruise-In, and tour of the OPP Dispatch Centre was a GREAT day, and wonderful way to start our season!! The following note has been sent to Jason Ready, son of members Jim & Linda Ready. "A short note to say a BIG "Thank You" for showing us such a great in-depth tour of the OPP Dispatch Centre in North Bay on Saturday! The club members from Barrie Thunder Classics & Wasaga Beach Cruisers who attended had a real treat - one that won't soon be forgotten! Thanks for sharing your "day off" in such a meaningful way. Thanks to your family, too, for sharing you." Those who chose not to attend, or were unable to attend, missed a really GREAT day!! Bonnie Walker, Secretary for BTC
