 Barrie Thunder Classics Support Local Charities                                

 
The Barrie Thunder Classics car club recently presented each of three charitable organizations, chosen by the membership, a cheque in the amount of $625.00. A big “Thank You” to attendees at the Wednesday night cruises held at the Kozlov Centre who participated in the fund raising efforts during the 2008 season.
 
 
 Receiving the donation on behalf of the Heart and Stroke Association is Valerie Holland-Smith, Area Manager for Simcoe County & District of Muskoka (left) , presented by Lynn Moore, President of Barrie Thunder Classics (centre), and Bonnie Walker, Secretary of Barrie Thunder Classics (right). $525.00 was specified for the Chase McEachern Tribute Fund to provide AED’s, and $100.00 was specified in honour of Tim Hurtubise, a founding member of the Barrie Thunder Classics who suffered a fatal stroke.
